NO MORE BLACK TARGETS

Social Change Campaign

#NOMOREBLACKTARGETS (NMBT) was a collective of artists from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and nationalities working with paint, digital media, pattern making, and sculpture. The artists were directed to paint on live black silhouette targets used in shooting ranges to protest against gun violence. This approach raised awareness by showcasing target art in public and in art galleries while partnering with venues globally to protest the senseless and unlawful shootings of Black and Brown people in America.

This award-winning social change project went on to be featured in Ad Age, Adweek, Uproxx (accumulating over 7 million views), and captured international attention.
